It was published in the first issue of the literary journal <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">pook<\/span>, the official organ of the Adelaide chapter of The Political Party For Modest Progress Within The Confines Of The Law (Australia). In 1996 the text was performed in a reading at <a href=\"http:\/\/home.vicnet.net.au\/%7Egreyarea\/\">Grey Area Art Space<\/a> in Melbourne, and has since lain dormant until finding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cookylamoo.com\/writing\/taxi00.shtml\">a new home on the web<\/a>, with added multimedia content (i.e. illustrations).<\/p>\n<p>The illustrative photographs are randomly selected from all public photographs on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/cookylamoo\/\">Flickr<\/a> tagged with the word &#8216;Paris&#8217;.
