Put together by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art for their Guston retrospective a couple of years ago.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, having mentioned <a href=\"http:\/\/cookylamoo.com\/boringlikeadrill\/2005\/09\/public-service.html\">Morton Feldman<\/a>, here&#8217;s Guston&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Friend &#8211; to M.F.<\/span>, painted in 1978, after their estrangement in 1970.<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnvill.demon.co.uk\/mfgustn.htm\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cookylamoo.com\/boringlikeadrill\/blogpix\/gustonfeldman.jpg\" title=\"Not exactly a flattering portrait.\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Feldman also dedicated a piece to Guston &#8211; in 1984, four years after Guston&#8217;s death.  I&#8217;d post an MP3 of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bridgerecords.com\/9078.htm\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">For Philip Guston<\/span><\/a>: it&#8217;s a great piece, but it&#8217;s four hours long so I suspect I may not have quite enough space for it.<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cookylamoo.com\/boringlikeadrill\/blogpix\/feldman01.jpg\" title=\"On the other hand...\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Having gone off about Philip Guston the other day, here&#8217;s some more amusement: Guston Interactive!
